Best Video: Christian Löffler "Blind"

I just discovered this dreamy song by German house artist Christian Löffler. Taken from his debut album “A Forest” – released via his own Hamburg label Ki Records earlier this year – it is set in urban parks in Berlin, if I am not mistaken. Director Natasha Todd lets some young women sleepwalk/-crawl/-dance through the early morning, perfectly supporting the direct but lush atmosphere of the track. If you like it, take a minute to listen to his newest track Tausend too, out on the “Life and Death” sampler Some Things (Fall).

  1. Yannick Nezet-Seguin has been getting a lot of press lately for his latest successes in concert and opera, and also for signing a contract with Deutsche Grammophon. But another important Canadian artist has also been picked up by DG. Jan Lisiecki was born in Calgary of Polish parents, and is currently studying at the Glenn Gould School of Music in Toronto. At age 17 he is already a world-renowned artist with a tremendous future ahead of him. show
